SPEAKER: Andrei Codrescu

is a Romanian-born American poet, essayist, screenwriter, novelist, and a commentator for National Public Radio. He is also the editor of the literary journal Exquisite Corpse. Codrescu has written over 25 books. Two of his most recent books are Wakefield (2004) and New Orleans, Mon Amour (2006). Codrescu was also UHV’s 2006-2007 commencement speaker.
