SPEAKER: Monica Drake

Drake has a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona and teaches at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Her debut novel, Clown Girl, was published by independent press Hawthrone Books and has won an Eric Hoffer Award as well as an Independent Publisher Book Award. It’s been translated into Italian and recently was optioned for a film by Kristen Wiig. Drake’s other works include her second novel, The Stud Book, and her recently released collection of short stories, The Folly of Loving Life.
